I really thought that the summer was going to mean more time to write for Texas Freshwater Fly Fishing. I couldn't have been more wrong!
But, with summer came several things that take me away from TFFF.
1) More time has been spent on my "real job." Yes, I have a full time job, Texas Freshwater Fly Fishing is something I do for "fun." I don't make money with TFFF, so I must work at my real job full time! Work has been busier this summer.
2) Kids are home. This is great! I love spending time with my 3 boys. Baseball games, birthdays, and being a dictator-of-a-dad, that forces them to clean the yard and their room. It is all amazing, but does take me away from writing.
3) Travel. Summer is travel time (because the kids are home and the wife is a teacher), so we are often on the road to see family and traveling for fun!
The last two (Kids and Travel) wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for that danged-ole-job. Lol.
But Fear Not!
I have been working on some big projects for TFFF that you can look forward to in the future.

2) Diversity in Texas Fly Fishing! There will be some great stuff coming out to highlight the amazing diversity we have amongst Texas Fly Anglers!
3) More Tuesday Ties! I promise they are coming!!! Drop a comment with what you want to see tied.
So don't worry if you have noticed a slow-down. I am not stopping, more great stuff is coming. If I could ever figure out a way to make TFFF my full time job, I would do that and you would have even more goodness. But until then, enjoy what we have!
