Texas Freshwater Fly Fishing (TFFF) was started by Pat Kellner in 2013 as a small group of fly anglers dedicated to growing and improving freshwater fly fishing in Texas.
The Facebook group is still around, and has continued to expand to more than 6,800 members (as of 04/23/2021.) Nearly 70% of TFFF's members have actively engaged with the group in the last month alone.
TFFF has also recently grown beyond the Facebook group.
The website, www.texasfreshwaterflyfishing.com, was started by Pat in 2020, and has quickly become a place full of articles, contests, and more, focused on fly fishing the freshwaters of Texas. Articles include everything from "how-to" posts, interviews, and artwork, to contests, fishing stories, and our regular fly tying videos and recipes called "Tuesday Ties," all focused on fly fishing in Texas.
Our Instagram and YouTube accounts were started late in 2020 and the TikTok page was started in 2021. Each of these will continue to expand and find their niche within the Texas Freshwater Fly Fishing community.
Mission of Texas Freshwater Fly Fishing:
