This is the time of year, if you appreciate color, to find art hidden in waters. The sunfish of Texas are filled with colors not found many other places in nature. This is the time of year to appreciate the small things, the strokes of God’s paintbrush, the art of the Earth.
Small flies, small rods, light line, and exploring new waters. Cast to a break in the current, under and overhanging limb, or a cut in the bank. Get a good sized sunnie into a strong current, and it is still a decent tug.
