Do you like fly fishing or are you new to the venture? Do you want to learn more about fly fishing? Do you like good Texas beer? If you answered yes to any of these questions, be sure to check out the Texas Fly Fishing & Brew Festival.
This one of a kind, family-friendly event will host over 24 fee and paid specialty courses will be offered over the weekend. At this indoor/outdoor venue attendees can check out a myriad of fly fishing manufacturers, attend lectures on techniques and topics of interest to fly anglers of every stripe, and taste some of the Lone Star State’s best microbrewed beer.
I am also personally super excited about the Bourbon and Bass Bugs class!!! Sign up for the classes early because space is limited. You will also meet nationally known fly fishing authors, professional guides, expert casters, custom bamboo rodmakers, and fly tyers from across the country – all at the Texas Fly & Brew.
The Texas Fly Fishing & Brew Festival is a family-friendly event for everyone and the perfect place to learn every aspect of the quiet sport. Not sure if fly fishing is for you? Wander the festival grounds, learn how to fish from a kayak, watch a casting or fly tying demonstration, take a casting or fly tying class, test out the latest fly rods yourself–and then sample a series of microbrews.
